I've ordered myself a new camera! A Pentax PZ-1P. It's an older "proffesional SLR" model.
Want some stats? Here you go;
* Shutter speeds: (1) auto: 1/8000 sec. ~ 30 sec. stepless; (2) manual: 1/8000 sec. ~ 30 sec. plus bulb; (3) flash sync: 1/250 sec. (slow-shutter-speed sync: 250 sec. ~ 30 sec. plus bulb).
* Autofocus and power zoom
* Metering system: 1) TTL open-aperture eight-segment multi-pattern metering (coupled with lens and AF information); (2) spot metering; (3) center-weighted metering.
* Multiple exposure: 2~9 frames adjustable.
* Motordrive capable of 4,5 frames per second.
* Pentax Functions: 15 custom-programmable functions.
* Dimensiton: 152.0mm(W) x 95.5mm(H) x 74.0mm(D) (6.0" x 3.8" x 2.9")
* Weight: 650g (22.9 oz.) without lens and battery.
From
www.photographic.com/filmcamer… :
"There's also snap-in focus (available only when manual-focus Ka- or K-mount lenses are used), in which you manually focus at a desired distance, then lock the shutter button down (using the accessory Cable Switch F), and the camera will fire automatically when a subject arrives at the prefocused point.
What "PZ" Means—When Pentax FA power-zoom lenses are attached, you get three-speed power zooming, Zoom Clip (which lets you store a desired focal length and return to it at the touch of a button), Image Size Tracking (the lens will automatically zoom to maintain a preset subject size as the subject moves toward or away from the camera), and Zoom Effect (the lens zooms from wide to tele or vice versa after half the exposure time has elapsed, to produce an "explosion" effect)."
I also ordered some lenses:
Presenta 135/2,8 (mf)
Sigma UC APO 70-210/4-5,6 (af) Vivitar 17-28/4-4,5 (mf)
Pentax 50/1,4 m/UV-filter (af)
a Lowepro Trimtech Ultimate photobag, a 2X Tamron teleconverter and some filters to go with it. All in all it costs me about 900 dollars, or 6800kr. I can't wait to get it.
